both are important

I am on a journey to become a master therapist: To allow my lived experiences and specialized training to become wisdom, not only for me, but to be shared as a light for those seeking to find their own individual way to greater meaning, understanding and purpose.

I work from a strength-based approach based in neuroscience and best practice, helping people impacted by ADHD to reach life goals, while reducing stress and tension.

I have found clients with ADHD can have some big gifts beyond executive function challenges including: pathfinder, original thinker, resilient, creative and the capacity to feel deeply.

Coaching can help to learn new skills, therapy can help to overcome limiting beliefs. I offer both.

ADHD brains are different and require a different owner’s manual.

With support and guidance the gifts and the gems of neurodivergent humans can be cultivated for their

(and the world's) benefit.

I'M A BELIEVER.

IMAGINAL CELLS

Cell biologist Bruce Lipton, in the Biology of Belief has discovered “Imaginal Cells”

These cells are genetically identical to the other cells of the caterpillar, “but they think differently... As the caterpillar disintegrates, the Imaginal Cells start creating a new life."

spirituality in therapy

My degree is a Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and Spirituality with a major in art therapy. What this means is that I’m trained to help clients utilize spirituality if they choose, as a resource, an asset, or a bridge to deeper healing - whatever that might look like for them.

Spirituality is different from religion. For some people, exploring their relationship to the natural world or to things metaphysical can be a strength, a resource and something they might be curious about.

For me, becoming intentional of the rituals and ceremonies in life and creating new ones, can help bring reverence and a sense of sacred to my life and my work. I am curious about all things esoteric, quantum and alchemical and do not belong to any organized religion.

What clients Say

“I am so thankful for the sessions I had with Lisa - they were true gifts. She said therapy was self-care, and now I can really see that. I felt safe and connected to her right from the beginning - she has such a great energy and spirit. Giving me the words to identify and navigate challenging aspects of my ADHD and to reframe my negative self-talk has been life-changing for me. She also taught me to recognize and embrace the strengths of neurodivergence which helps me for me but also helps me as a parent. And by guiding me through a major life transition, she helped me find a path towards living a more authentic life. How amazing is that! I really feel like I was mentored, nurtured and cared for. I now have the tools to be a calmer, less anxious, more confident human. As I come out the other side and embrace this new life path, I genuinely feel like Lisa is cheering me on and that feels good. I know life is a roller coaster with its ups and downs but I do feel like this year was my success story.”
